WELCOME!

Welcome to my website. My goal is to help you become the best version of you. Whether by sharing recipes, nutrition tips, workouts, organization skills, parenting thoughts…all of it is part of what I’m here for…what I represent!

I am a single mom to 3 boys, aged 14 and twins who are almost 12!!! I maintain a lean physique by fueling my body with plenty of nutritious calories that FUEL me…not just FILL me!

I was born and raised in a small fishing village called King Salmon, Alaska. I played sports, fished, rode quads, participated in Native Youth Olympics (I did the seal hop, 1 foot high kick and long jump – you should google it 😉 !). Once I graduated from high school, I went to college at Northern Arizona University where I participated on the weight lifting team for a bit and ultimately play scrum half for the women’s inaugural rugby team at NAU. We were originally called the Lady Sharks (the men’s team were called the Landsharks after a Saturday Night Live skit). I ended up finishing school up in Portland, OR, where I taught STEP AEROBICS and Cardio Kickboxing. I have been a lover of fitness my entire life.

I became a mom at the age of 34, had my twins at 36 and I’ve been moving full steam ahead since then. I’d say I’m in the best shape my life, here at 48. I MAKE time for myself every day…whether it is lifting, yoga, a hike or run…I LOVE to move. YOU can too! That’s why I’m here.

I hear so many people say “How do you make the time?”. Well…do you love brushing your teeth every day? Getting laundry done? Cleaning the pee off the toilet seats? Most of us probably don’t…But we do it. Much like making time for yourself – those chores just get done because they have to. You have to choose to make yourself better. Does it happen over night? HELL no. But bit by bit, you cut out people who suck your energy, food that makes you sluggish, sitting on the couch instead of going for a walk or reading a book – all these little changes add up to make you the best version of you. This is a long plan. No short plan is going to get you where you need to be in 30, 40, 50 years. Make decisions and choices that help you now…that help you shape your children…that teach your children how prioritize themselves. Making time for you isn’t selfish. It is 100% necessary.

So…WELCOME to my page. Welcome to learning about you. To being stronger, to being smarter, to being a better version…of YOU.
